PIERCETON – Despite rumors to the contrary, the Pierceton Days parade and car show are full steam ahead for this year.
Kim Rose, director of Pierceton Days, said she has fielded many phone calls from Pierceton residents wondering about whether the parade or car show had been canceled.
The car show is still scheduled for Aug. 3 and will be on Market Street.
The parade will be Aug. 4 starting at 4 p.m. and will take place along Ind. 13.
Pierceton Days will not be affected by the fact that Ind. 13 is the detour for Ind. 15 road construction.
The theme for this year’s Pierceton Days is “A Day at the Circus.”
Belva Stephens will be the grand marshal.
