NORTH WEBSTER - Bargain hunters and community supporters are invited to shop for a cause at an upcoming sale benefiting the Senior Primelife Enrichment Center (SPEC).
The two-day event will take place Jan. 16 and 17 in the Community Hall at the North Webster Community Center (NWCC).
Shoppers can browse a wide variety of unique and gently used donated items, with all proceeds directly supporting SPEC and its mission to serve senior citizens in the community, according to a provided news release.
To help make this fundraiser a success, NWCC is accepting donated items now. Donations may include gently used household goods, clothing and other sellable items. Donations will be accepted during regular business hours only, and donors are asked to speak with an attendant before dropping off items. All items must be donated by Jan. 15. NWCC reserves the right to decline items deemed unsellable.
SPEC is a central gathering place for senior citizens in the community, offering opportunities for socializing, education and lifelong engagement for those who wish to stay “Active for Life.” SPEC is also home to the REAL Services Nutrition Program, which provides hot meals Monday through Friday.
Community members are encouraged to donate, shop and help support an organization that plays a vital role in enriching the lives of local seniors.
