Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
WAWAKA - Roberts Farms is hosting a Safe Kids Day & Touch-A-Truck event at their farm on Sept. 26.
This event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. but the farm will officially close at 8 p.m. that day.
This event is nothing new to the community as Fashion Farm started the tradition that has been a huge part of Noble County and the surrounding area, according to a provided news release. They are happy to keep the tradition going and appreciate the support of Ligonier Public Safety and Ligonier Street, Water & Wastewater for coordinating this event for the community.
Here's a schedule of events for the day:
• Child Identification will be available the whole time from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., along with a variety of different trucks and vehicles on display
• Noon - Drone demonstration
• 1:30 p.m. - Extraction demonstration
• 2:30 p.m. - Fire Truck Hose demonstration
• 3 p.m. - Canine demonstration
• 3:30 p.m. - Taser demonstration
If all goes well, the Parkview Good Samaritan helicopter should land at the farm around 1 p.m. and kids and adults can get a closer look at the helicopter.
Roberts Farms is located at 2085 W. CR 900N, Wawaka.
