Right to Life Announces 40 Days for Life Campaign

Posted
Kosciusko County Right to Life has announced its fourth annual 40 Days for Life Campaign.

The 40 Days for Life is a national initiative that begins Wednesday and focuses on 40 days of prayer and fasting.

The local campaign will begin with a kick-off event on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. next to Bob and Nelson Conley’s Barbershop (corner of Prairie and Buffalo streets in Warsaw).

The public is invited.

The event is a peaceful prayer vigil outside of abortion facilities and Planned Parenthood offices, and 40 days of educational outreach, according to Dave Koontz, Kosciusko County Right to Life director.

40 Days for Life campaigns have been conducted in more than 440 communities in the U.S. and internationally.

There are more than 5,900 children that have been confirmed as saved from abortion, Koontz said.

Some cities have reported as much as a 28 percent drop in local abortion numbers and numerous post-abortive women (and men) finding forgiveness and healing.

There have been 69 abortion workers who have quit and 23 abortion facilities have closed.

The public is invited. For more information, visit  www.kcrtl.org/40days
