Several local restaurants are participating in United Way of Kosciusko County's first "Restaurant Week" campaign.
Restaurant Week is scheduled to run Oct. 20 to 24. These restaurants have selected a certain day of that week in which they will donate a portion of the daily proceeds to the United Way.
This week, Indiana Lakeland Girl Scout troops are asking local merchants to display posters for this event throughout Kosciusko County.
United Way has set a goal of $1.6 million this year to meet the increasing needs of social service agencies in our community. We hope the members of our community enjoy a great meal and help support the United Way.
