Repairs Slow Traffic On Part Of Main, Detroit StreetsWork on underground sewer lines are affecting traffic on several streets in downtown Warsaw today.
Roads affected include North Detroit, Center, Main and Fort Wayne streets.
All roads are open to traffic; however, some roads have directional and turning restrictions to alleviate traffic congestion, according to a spokesperson for the city.
These restrictions are expected to last throughout the week.
The sewer work is part of an ongoing sewer rehabilitation project across much of the downtown area.
The work, which began earlier this summer, involves replacement of some sewer lines and manholes and the relining of many sewer lines.
Crews were working at the intersections of North Detroit and Fort Wayne as well as North Detroit and Main early today.
