Question Mark and the Mysterians are perhaps best known for their organ-driven No. 1 smash hit “96 Tears” that topped the charts in the fall of 1966. They also received national airplay for their songs “I Need Somebody” and “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby.”

Eccentric frontman Question Mark cultivated an aura of mystery by never appearing in public without a pair of wraparound sunglasses; he frequently claimed he had been born on Mars and lived among the dinosaurs in a past life. The group was one of the first Latino rock groups to have a major hit. The Mysterians were formed in 1962, taking their name from a Japanese science fiction movie.

“This benefit concert will allow fans to see this classic rock band in an up-close and comfortable environment. And, the funds these concerts raise will allow Serenity House to continue its important work in helping men and women recover from drug and alcohol addictions,” said Matt Rice, executive director of the Serenity House locations in both Auburn and Warsaw. “We hope the public will come out to see these classic rockers, and help us with our fundraising efforts.”
