Ingredients: 1 pkg. macaroni and cheese; 1/2 cup chopped onion; 1/4 cup chopped green pepper; 2 tbsp. oleo; 3/4 cup milk; 1 can cream of mushroom soup; 1 (6-1/2 oz.) can of tuna. Cook macaroni as directed on package. Saute onion and green peppers in oleo till tender. Drain macaroni and add rest of ingredients except tuna. Mix well and put in 1-1/2 qt. casserole. Arrange tuna in mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 4-6. 50 Years Ago Additional information received today by The Times-Union from the office of Gov. Matthew Welsh discloses the first concrete arrangements have been made for relocating U.S. 30 so that it will bypass the city of Warsaw. The relocation of U.S. 30 is to be from the Marshall-Kosciusko county line to one-half mile east of the east city limits of Warsaw. Preliminary engineering is for the four-lane limited access (divided) highway, to be 13.70 miles in length. 75 Years Ago Efforts are being made by Herbert Petrie of the Petrie band camp, Winona Lake, and the Winona Christian Assembly to bring the National High School Band conference here next year. In event the conference is held here, about 6,000 high school pupils will arrive here the third week of May to compete in the contest.
