    Kendra Roberts, Mentone, was the winner of the festival raffle tree "Beanie Baby Holiday," designed and sponsored by The Party Shop, owned by Dorothy and Norm Snyder.

    The Agnes Pruyn Chapman Chapter, DAR, presented the Good Citizens of Warsaw Community High School, Michelle Sebo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sebo; and Bill Dixon of Wawasee High School, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dixon.

The DAR Good Citizens are chosen by their faculty for their qualities of: Dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.

    Kathryn Coy, Kosciusko County assessor, was elected first vice president of the Indiana County Assessors association at a meeting held in Indianapolis.

Coy resides on the north side of Tippecanoe Lake in Plain Township.

December 19 1932

    Warsaw ice cutting is only about half completed, but if the weather does not moderate, both the Warsaw Ice Co. on Center Lake, and the Independent Ice Co. at Pike Lake, expect to complete the ice harvest by Saturday. This will be the first time in two years that Warsaw ice houses will be filled. The Warsaw Ice company's houses have a capacity of 3,000 tons.

Forty men and now employed on Pike Lake and 48 on Center Lake in cutting ice this season.
