Familiar faces and local scenes will be showcased during WNIT Public Television's Open Studio Sept. 16.
Open Studio is the television station's two-hour broadcast, which highlights communities on a county-by-county basis.
The first hour, beginning at 1 p.m., features community arts and culture when a taped tour of the Ramada Wagon Wheel Theatre will be shown.
John Whetstone of Whetstone Woodenware will be a special guest as will photographer John Eric Hawkins and award-winning wildlife stamp artist Jeffrey Klinefelter of Etna Green.
Joe Conlon will tell stories, Emma Fretz will show Emma's Exotic Eggs and the Summertime Blues Band will entertain.
The second half of the show will feature a variety of personalities, from retired WRSW broadcaster Harvey Miller to Warsaw Community High School teacher Jim Gilmer.
A taped segment will introduce curiosities on display at Kosciusko County Jail Museum.
Barbee Hotel chef Tim Rouch will prepare a dish during the "Whatcha Got Cookin'?" segment and the train collections of Bob Kline and Wilbur "Rusty" Rust will be presented.
Curt Samuelson, director of the Animal Welfare League, ends the show when he and a four-legged friend are featured in "Pick of the Litter."
Trina Cutter returns to host her fourth season of Open Studio along with co-host Chuck Freeby, best known as a sports broadcaster with WNDU-TV.
Author Mark Hardy, director of the Oakwood Leadership Academy, Syracuse, also will co-host this year.
Open Studio programming begins Sept. 9 with a look at South Bend, followed by Kosciusko County and other counties and communities in the WNIT broadcast area. The shows start at 1 p.m.
