Potawatomi Wildlife Park Banquet Set

Posted
TIPPECANOE – Tickets are on sale now for the Potawatomi Wildlife Park banquet.
The third annual banquet and fundraiser is on March 5. The annual banquet is the Park’s major fundraiser for the year and a way for those in attendance to celebrate Potawatomi Wildlife Park and support its mission.
This year’s banquet again will be held at the Back Forty Banquet Hall, Bourbon.  Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with social time, cash bar, hors d'oeuvres and musical entertainment by local musician Jeff Unterbrink.
The evening’s catered dinner includes pot roast, Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green bean casserole, tossed salad and dessert.
Historically, the theme has alternated between nature and history each year. History is again the theme and coincidentally Indiana's bicentennial is also this year. Dr. Patrick Furlong, professor emeritus, IUSB Department of History, is the featured speaker. His program is titled “The Hoosier Bicentennial: Why We Should Celebrate, 1816-2016.”
Festivities include both a silent and live auction to raise funding for the Park’s mission. Auction items are still be accepted as are table sponsors.
Tickets are $35 per person. Dress is business casual. No tickets will be sold at the door, and the deadline to get tickets is Saturday. To purchase individual tickets, order online at http://www.pwp2016.brownpapertickets.com, see a board member or contact the park at 574-498-6550.
