NAPPANEE - Three Nappanee residents were found dead under suspicious circumstances Monday afternoon.
The bodies of Timothy A. Heaton, 31, Linda S. Almeida, 41, and Josh Laberge, 14, were found at 4:43 p.m. in their trailer at Lot 154 Meadows Mobile Home Park, Nappanee. Laberge was the son of Almeida and both were living with Heaton in the trailer.
A friend who went to the trailer to check on them said he found two of the bodies in the master bedroom and the other in a second bedroom.
Police are calling the deaths "suspicious" and will determine the causes of death in autopsies Wednesday at Goshen General Hospital.
Nappanee Police Department refused to release more details of the incident pending further investigation.
