Ten underage drinkers staying in Warsaw while attending the Old German Baptist Brethren meeting were taken into custody early Sunday at a Warsaw motel.

Warsaw police were called to the Super 8 on Frontage Road, where employees reported several people were allegedly getting out of hand during a loud party.

Six people were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on charges of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor when police responded to the 3:41 a.m. call. Four others were preliminarily charged with the same offense and released to the mother of one of the teen-agers.

Booked into the KCJ were Bradley Neil Miller, 19, and Jeffrey Milton Davison, 18, both of Garnett, Kan.; Jason Joe Crist, 18, Overbrook, Kan.; Brendon Wesley Wray, 19, Lawrence, Kan.; Norman Dennis Mahin, 20, Quinter, Kan.; and Luke Orian Miller, 20, Hughson, Calif.

Taken into custody and released to an adult were Garrett Lowell Garber, 17, Quinter; Ashley Noel Barnett, 16, and Roxanne Kay Peters, 17, both of Elida, Ohio; and Tina Sue Stricker, 17, Modesto, Calif.

During the investigation of the incident, one of the teens told police the group was in town for the church meeting taking place in rural North Manchester.
