COLUMBIA CITY -ÊFor the second time, the bond for a Pierceton woman facing felony drug dealing charges was reduced Monday in Whitley Circuit Court.
On July 19, Melissa G. Christian's original $50,000 surety bond was reduced to $25,000.
On Monday, her bond was reduced to $10,000.
She faces two counts of Class B felony dealing in cocaine and two counts of possession of a narcotic, according to published reports.
During the bond reduction hearing, Christian's defense attorney, Greg Hockemeyer, called two witnesses.
Pastor Rick Cooper spoke on Christian's behalf. Sue Havlin, Christian's mother, said Christian will live with her in Warsaw if bonded.
Christian stands trial Oct. 12 and 13.
