Pierceton Chamber Announces Jazz And Wine Tasting June 28

PIERCETON – The Pierceton Chamber of Commerce will again be hosting its seventh annual Jazz and Wine Tasting. This year it will be in Brower Park, Pierceton, June 28. This event will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m., sponsored by the Pierceton Chamber of Commerce, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Lakeland Art Association. Tickets are available by calling 574-268-4860, online at Brown Bag Tickets (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/703840) or from any Pierceton Chamber member. Carousel Winery has the exclusive to this event, according to a press release provided. The Trio Tones are a new classic, soft jazz combo featuring local artists. These three musicians come from diverse backgrounds and blend the sounds of traditional jazz and blues with a unique sound. Individually, they stand on their own being a part of many different styles of music and performing, the press release states. This contributes to the sound and class of the group. This is their second time performing for this event. Lakeland Art Association members will be providing art for a live art auction to be held at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from the live art auction will benefit Lakeland Art Association and Gallery and the Pierceton Chamber of Commerce. A silent auction, of local products or services will also take place to benefit the chamber. Hors d’oeuvre will be provided by Classic Catering from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Blue Lion Coffee will provide a coffee and tea bar along with water stations.
