A UPS truck driving east on Winona Avenue collided with a truck traveling northbound on South Union Street about 10 a.m. today.
As a result of the collision, the northbound truck drove into a yard and turned on its side. Emergency crews had to cut off the top of the truck to get the female driver out.
The unidentified driver was then transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
According to witnesses at the scene, the northbound truck didn’t make an effort to stop at the stop sign while traveling at a high rate of speed. No further information was available at press time.
