At approximately 10 a.m. today, emergency crews responded to the intersection of Detroit and Center streets to an accident involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian. Exact details were unavailable at the time of press, but a type of skateboard was in the crosswalk and a male victim was laying on the sidewalk in front of CVS, as first responders were stablizing his head and neck. Warsaw Police Department, Indiana State Police, Warsaw Fire Department and Multi-Township EMS responded, with Warsaw Engine 3 setting up a landing zone at Center Lake for an airlift.
