Marilyn Collins brought up the idea to her daughter.
After a highly positive response, Collins decided to move forward.
The idea? Provide a space for parents to hold parties for their children. Different rooms fitting different themes for boys and girls.
XBox 260® with Kinect® and Nintendo Wii® in each room.
A place where parents could bring their kids and party guests where they didn’t have to worry about the clean-up.
So in mid-February, Collins opened Time For Fun at 3133 E. Center St., Warsaw, in the Center Center Plaza.
Collins said she saw the need for such a place in Warsaw.
Collins and her staff do all the planning and can provide parents with contacts for food and cake services since there is no on-site food preparation at Time For Fun.
Or if parents decide, they can bring their own food and supplies.
From tea party themes to Transformers®, Collins said her business is a great way for parents to have a stress-free birthday party.
Typically, the parties are meant for groups of eight but can go up to 14.
Along with TVs and video games, Time For Fun also has a karaoke machine.
Collins said she was pleased with her choice of Center Center Plaza because of the convenient location and parking.
Time For Fun will have a grand opening at its location May 19.
The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. and feature a 16-foot tropical obstacle course and popcorn machine.
