Pack 3767 Gives To Toys For Tots

Lessons that Cub Scout Pack 3767 learned about working to earn money and giving to others benefitted Toys For Tots Monday night. According to Cub Master Brad Lemp, parents were given a suggestion sheet for how much money to give their Scouts for chores around the house so the kids can earn money for toys to donate to Toys For Tots. For more than a month, the Scouts would earn enough money to buy toys worth $5 to $10. Monday night was the night for the Scouts to turn in the toys they bought with the money they earned doing chores. ‘We’re trying to teach kids they have to work to earn money and it’s better to give instead of receive,’ Lemp said. Warsaw Police Dept. Sgt. and former Marine Gunnery Sgt. Dave Morales, coordinator of Toys For Tots in Kosciusko County, picked up the donated toys at the Pack’s Monday night meeting. There are 22 Cub Scouts in Pack 3767, ranging from first to fifth grade. Pack 3767, sponsored by Pleasant View Bible Church, meets at Lincoln Elementary School.
