SILVER LAKE – Dana Owens has been appointed to replace her husband, Gale Owens, on the Silver Lake Town Council. Gale Owens died May 6. David Kolbe, chair of the Kosciusko County Democratic Party, said Friday she will be sworn in next week. Kolbe made the appointment Thursday.
