The annual Our Father’s House Back To School Saturday is this weekend. The event is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Our Father’s House, 401 Argonne Road. School age children can receive five free outfits as well as new socks and underwear and school supplies. Last year more than 500 children took part in the event, according to Roz Morgan, Our Father’s House founding director. This is the eighth year for the event, Morgan said. School supplies and other items are both purchased by Our Father’s House and donated by the community. “Every child should be able to go back to school with new school supplies and we will do everything we can to help children who come through our doors,” Morgan said. People who want to donate school supplies can drop them off at Our Father’s House Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
