WINONA LAKE – An open house is planned at the Winona Lake Town Hall Tuesday.
The open house is in conjunction with the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns community events planned statewide, and is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Local officials and town leaders are joining city and town leaders statewide to increase public awareness about the many functions and benefits of municipal government in Indiana.
Departments to be represented at the town hall are the offices of town coordinator, clerk-treasurer, police department, building commissioner and town hall. The parks department will be at the Senior Center along with the street and fire departments at their respective office locations on Chestnut Street and Kings Highway.
A town hall meeting follows at 6 p.m. in the council chambers. The community is invited to attend.
