A North Manchester woman was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries after a three-vehicle collision Monday evening. According to a Warsaw Police Department crash report, officers responded to the collision just after 5 p.m. Monday on Lake City Highway near the intersection of East Old 30 in Warsaw. The report stated that the driver of the first vehicle, Jeffrey P. Tenbarge, 44, Woodburn, was eastbound on Lake City Highway when traffic in front of him suddenly slowed to a stop and he could see a vehicle leave the roadway and enter the median. Tenbarge told police he was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of the second vehicle, driven by Linda S. Felger, 63, East South Barbee Drive, Pierceton. Felger stated that she was able to stop her vehicle in time to avoid a collision with a third vehicle, though when she was struck from behind by Tenbarge’s vehicle, she was pushed into the back of the third vehicle, driven by Jenae C. Renz, 44, North Walnut Street, North Manchester. Felger complained of face and neck pain but refused EMS treatment at the scene. Renz complained of head, neck and back pain and was transported by ambulance to KCH for treatment. Police estimated the damage from the collision totaled between $2,500 and $5,000.
