On the Roof for Riley Raises $4,676

Posted
Jerry Nolin, co-owner of the Dairy Queen at 2304 E. Winona Ave., wanted to do something for local children served by Riley Children’s Hospital, and he did just that.

His recent stakeout on the roof of his restaurant raised over $5,000, of which $4,676 was given to the Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund, held at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.

A few of the donors who responded to Nolin’s roof stakeout made their checks directly to Riley Hospital For Children or the Children’s Miracle Network, which serves Riley Children’s Hospital. All the money raised will help seriously ill children and their families.

Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc. has brought caring people and charitable endeavors together for the good of the community. The Community Foundation is a public charity, and gifts made to the Foundation are tax-deductible.

Nolin presented a check to the Kosciusko County Community Foundation representing cash and pledges raised during his On the Roof for Riley campaign.
