An Ohio man was arrested Saturday afternoon after stealing a truck.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputy James Marshall was notified of a stolen truck at 3:15 p.m. Saturday. Marshall saw the truck traveling east on U.S. 30 and Parker Street and initiated a traffic stop, according to Chad Hill, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department public information officer.
The suspect was identified as Christopher Ray Tressler, 28, of 13745 Guy St., Defiance, Ohio.
The driver was arrested for possession of stolen property.
He allegedly stole the truck from a previous employment project.
The owner of the truck was identified as Clearly Transport LLC, Phil Walters, 730 Technology Place, Waverly, Iowa.
Tressler posted the $2,000.00 bond later on Saturday night at the Kosciusko County Jail.
