North Webster Town Council signed a few documents in a 10-minute special meeting Monday at town hall.
First, the council signed an encumbrance for $18,423 for a new bed for the salt spreader truck. The equipment was purchased from WA Jones Truck Equipment. The money will be transferred from the equipment fund for 2025 into the 2026 fund.
Next, it signed the salary ordinances and pay schedule for 2026 for town employees. There is a 3% pay increase for employees’ wages next year.
The next meeting is at 6 p.m. Jan. 20.
