WABASH – A North Manchester woman injured in a car crash May 27 died Saturday. According to a Wabash County Sheriff’s Department press release, on May 27 a single-car crash occured on CR 1300N, near CR 400W in Wabash County. The vehicle was driven by Shauna M. Pingleton, 22, North Manchester. She was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital in serious condition. On Monday, the Allen County Coroner’s Office notified the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department that Pingleton “has succumb to her injuries that she received as a result of the accident on May 27.” The coroner’s office listed her death at 12:45 p.m. Saturday. Pingleton was a 2010 Manchester High School graduate. Her obituary appears on page 3A of today’s newspaper.
