VINCENNES – A North Manchester man was arrested Monday after he allegedly had sexual relations with a minor child. According to a press release from the Vincennes Police Department, detectives traveled to North Manchester Monday to conduct a criminal investigation into a sex offense that possibly occurred in Vincennes Jan. 18 or 19. The original complaint stated that the suspect – identified as Michael J. McKee, 56, North Manchester – and the victim travelled toegther to Vincennes and stayed at a hotel where McKee allegedly engaged in sexual activity with the child. Vincennes Police Department detectives conducted several interviews before McKee was placed under arrested and transported back to Vincennes and booked into the Knox County Law Enforcement Center without incident. McKee was charged with felony criminal deviate conduct, felony child seduction and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
