No Weapon Found After Call Claiming Teens Had Gun At Silver Lake

SILVER LAKE - Police responded to a call Tuesday around noon of three large juveniles dressed in black and with a firearm.
The call to dispatch came from an employee at Wabash Valley Manufacturing The employee said a co-worker witnessed the three teenagers walking toward the building with a firearm.
This caused the facility to go into a lockdown mode.
When Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department arrived, along with Silver Lake and Claypool police, a canvas of the area found no evidence of criminal activity nor were the three teenagers found.
Wabash County and Fulton County Sheriff's Department cars also responded to the scene.
