MERRILLVILLE - Northern Indiana Public Service Co. has announced a 1.33-cent increase per therm for natural gas customers.
The increase represents a 2.4 percent increase from October prices and a 6.5 percent increase over November 1998 prices.
The utility said the increase is due to rising market prices, based on colder temperatures forecasted for November as compared to last year.
