New Hope Pet Rescue Benefit Planned In North Webster

Posted
NORTH WEBSTER – A benefit has been planned in North Webster June 21 for New Hope Pet Rescue.
The benefit is to help raise money for building a pet adoption center to house homeless cats and dogs at New Hope. Angie Wright, New Hope owner, said a larger building is needed to accommodate the amount of cats and dogs that need to be adopted.
The organization currently has a building at 72555 CR 29, Syracuse, and is in the process of building an adoption center at the site.
“The building has been built, but there aren’t any cats or dogs in the building because we are still finishing the inside of it,” Wright said.
Wright said the fundraiser will assist with the costs of finishing the inside of the building and for operating expenses for the organization.
The benefit will be June 21 from 5:30 to 11 p.m. at North Webster Community Center. on Ind. 13.
Dinner will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., a live auction from 8 to 9 p.m. and entertainment from 9 to 11 p.m.
The dinner includes pulled pork, tossed salad, potato salad, baked beans, chips and dessert. There will be a cash bar.
Entertainment will be provided by Gary Gerard.
The cost is $15 per person or two for $25. Admission includes dinner, auctions, raffles, cash drawing and live entertainment.
Financial donations can be left at Crossroads Bank, Syracuse.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at Crossroads Bank, 500 S. Huntington St., at North Webster Community Center, 301 N. Main St. or at the event.
