NORTH WEBSTER – Kensea Myers was named Queen of Lakes during the 70th Mermaid Festival in June. Myers, Leesburg, represented Maxinkuckee Lake in the 1970s-themed pageant. First runner-up was Jenna Coy, Syracuse; second runner-up was Kalin Meikle, Goshen; and third runner-up was Kiersten Bailey, Fort Wayne. In the Cutie pageant, Jozie Mishler, Pierceton, and Cohen Tom, Leesburg, were named queen and king. In the Cutie Parade, Everett Guy won Best of Theme; Devin VanLue won in the motorized category; Jaxon Nabinger, hand-drawn category; and Carter Grady, walking.
