A Syracuse woman died Monday from injuries suffered Saturday afternoon in LaGrange County after the motorcycle she was on was rear-ended.
Stacy L. List, 52, of 1502 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, was pronounced dead at Parkview Hospital Monday. No time of death was given.
Stacy and her husband, Daniel List, were on a motorcycle when it was struck from behind by a van at approximately 4 p.m. Saturday.
According to the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department, Lyle Bontrager, 51, Shipshewana was traveling northbound on Ind. 5 near CR 100S, just south of Shipshewana, when the van he was driving ran into the back of the Lists' motorcycle.
The Lists were stopped in the road, preparing to make a left turn.
Bontrager wasn't injured.
Daniel List was listed in fair condition Monday.
The accident remains under investigation.
