As the result of a substantial gift from Dr. Dane and Mary Louise Miller of Winona Lake, Grace College has established the first endowed chair in its history.
The Dr. Dane and Mary Louise Miller Endowed Chair of Music will help the campus attract and retain an outstanding professor in the School of Music.
Such a chair also attracts prospective students who will have the opportunity to be taught and mentored by a accomplished and credentialed professor.
"Mary Louise and I are delighted to wholeheartedly endorse and support Grace College, its leadership, its faculty, and its students," Dr. Miller said. "In establishing this chair, we hope to share our love of music with Grace and all of Kosciusko County."
"This extraordinary gift is just the latest way the Millers have supported Grace," said Dr. Ronald E. Manahan, president of Grace Schools. "We cannot thank them enough for all they have done. They have made a remarkable difference."
