MILFORD - Milford Town Council met today for the year-end meeting and approved new fire department officers, a pay raise ordinance and a funds encumbrance.
New fire department officers are: Todd Haines, chief; Tim Conley, assistant chief; Keith Hunsberger, secretary; and Dave Rosenberry, treasurer. The training officer position is unfilled.
Town council officers will be nominated Jan. 9 during the first 2006 meeting.
Ordinance 2005-10 allows for a pay raise for full-time town employees and board members in 2006. According to the clerk treasurer, the increase is about 3 percent for all.
Ordinance 2005-11 allows the town to encumber just less than $4,500. The money will be used to pay remaining 2005 parks bills.
Milford Town Council will continue to meet the second Tuesday of every month.
