Milford Officer Suffers Minor Inuries In Chase

MILFORD - Milford Police Officer Jonathon Breaton suffered minor injures following a Saturday night pursuit of two individuals.
Breaton attempted to pull over a 1996 Dodge Neon with false plates around 10:45 p.m. Saturday night.
The vehicle apparently was driving around Milford and acting suspicious, according to Milford Town Marshal Dave Hobbs.
He said the vehicle stopped at a residence then left as Breaton began to follow the vehicle on Catherine Street.
As Breaton activated his flashing lights, the vehicle sped away.
The vehicle began driving through fields, and eventually two suspects got out of the car and fled on foot.
As Breaton pursued the suspects, he became entangled in barbed wire.
Breaton was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, where he was treated and released with minor injuries.
The two suspects remain at large.
Hobbs said the incident remains under investigation and declined to give a description of the two suspects.
