Milford Fire Department responded to a house fire at 381 E. Nelson Drive, Milford, at 3:28 a.m. Sunday.
The home is owned by James and Rose Mishler. Upon arrival, the fire department found the home was fully engulfed.
James Mishler was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital Burn Unit, Fort Wayne, for burns suffered to the face or arm. Mishler was released later Sunday.
The home was a complete loss. Milford firefighters were at the scene until 9:30 a.m.
Leesburg/ Plain Township Fire Department, Syracuse Fire Department and Multi-Township EMS assisted. Squad 70 helped with the investigation. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
