Various proposed corridors for the Western Route Project will be presented and discussed July 8 at 7 p.m. in the Kosciusko County Justice Building.

The Project is a corridor study that will investigate upgrading existing road facilities and identifying alternative routes on the west side of Warsaw from U.S. 30 to Ind. 15, south of the Warsaw city limits, and from U.S. 30 north to the Elkhart County line.

The Kosciusko County Commissioners have retained the Troyer Group to perform the corridor study that will analyze present and future traffic conditions and generate a preferred alternative route.

The corridor meeting July 8 will be the third public meeting to discuss the project. Key elements of the public meeting will be to review the project, present the various proposed corridors and encourage public input.

The meeting is open to the public.

County commissioners are president Ron Truex, Brad Jackson and Avis Gunter.
