A Marion man was reportedly mugged Tuesday night in Warsaw.
Warsaw police were called about 10 p.m. Tuesday by a resident in the 900 block of East Center Street because two men were fighting in his backyard.
The men were gone when police arrived at the residence, but the victim of the alleged mugging was located near Center Quick Service, where the incident apparently began.
Ryan Neil Knipp, 21, told police he was using the pay telephone at the gas station when the suspect "mouthed off to him" and took his wallet. The wallet contained $20 and personal items.
Knipp said he ran after the man and wrestled with him for a short time before the suspect broke away and fled.
The suspect is described as a white male 6 feet, 2 inches tall with short blond hair.
Anyone with information on this incident should contact the Warsaw Police Department at 372-9511.
