Mantis Skate Park will open for the season Friday. The skate park opens at 400 Little League Drive in Boggs Industrial Park, Warsaw. School hours will run from April 15 to June 5. During school hours, the skate park will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. All operating hours are weather permitting. Admission to the skate park is free. Mantis Skate Park is a family friendly facility that welcomes both skateboarders and in-line skaters of all ages and skill levels. The park is supervised by staff at all times during operating hours. Helmets are required at all times, but may be borrowed for collateral from the facility. All skaters must have a 2011 waiver, rules acknowledgement and emergency contact form on file prior to skating. A parent or legal guardian must sign for minors. Several late skates, competitions and skate clinics are being planned for the season.
