NORTH MANCHESTER – The Manchester boys basketball team won 58-44 Wednesday in a Three Rivers Conference home game against Northfield.
The Squires (10-7, 5-1 TRC) led 15-8 after the first quarter and 29-21 at halftime.
Northfield narrowed the gap to five points, and the Squires held a 41-36 lead at the end of the third quarter.
Manchester went on a 15-0 run in the fourth to seal the victory.
Weston Hamby scored 21 points for Manchester, while Brayden Casper scored 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds.
The win keeps Manchester with just one TRC loss. The only other team with one conference loss is Wabash, which defeated Manchester 67-51 earlier in the season.
Manchester will host Peru Friday.
