WABASH -ÊCanadian authorities found a North Manchester man accused of child molestation wandering the road in southern Ontario Saturday.
Michael Reahard, 36, North Manchester, is facing four counts of Class A felony child molestation for acts that allegedly happened when he hired children as farm help and had sexual contact with them.
Reahard was released from prison on bond while he awaits trial and was ordered not to leave Wabash County or the state or to contact the four alleged victims.
According to detectives at Wabash County Sheriff's Department, Reahard jumped bond and went to Canada.
Canadian immigration authorities found Reahard's vehicle abandoned along a road and later located him wandering in Ontario. He was turned over to customs and is awaiting extradition in Michigan.
According to a WCSD detective, Reahard's bond will be revoked and he will be imprisoned while he awaits trial.
Reahard also is believed to have contacted some of the victims by e-mail over the weekend.
