Alexander S. Kulakowsky, 83, of 519 E. Center St., Warsaw, is in critical condition at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, after colliding on his bicycle with a car Friday at approximately 11:21 a.m.
According to a Warsaw Police Department report, Kulakowsky was riding his bicycle east on East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw, as Eric B. Buhlmann, 22, of Chinworth Court, Warsaw, was driving his car east on the street. Buhlmann reportedly told police Kulakowsky allegedly then turned left in front of Buhlmann's car without signaling a left-hand turn. Buhlmann could not prevent his car from colliding with Kulakowsky.
The collision occurred approximately 80 feet east of Reed Street,
Kulakowsky suffered injury to his head and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital before being transported by Samaritan Helicopter to Parkview.
Buhlmann's car sustained less than $750 in damages.
