Warsaw Police detectives have completed an investigation involving a Warsaw man forcing unwanted sexual activity with an acquaintance.
Fred Christian, 53, of 322 S. Columba St., Warsaw, was jailed early this morning by Warsaw police after a criminal warrant was issued.
The sexual allegation involves a September report to police by a 51-year-old woman. The woman stated she went to the Christian home on South Columbia Street in Warsaw to visit a friend, who was not there.
While there, Fred Christian, who also lives in the home, confronted her, engaged in sexual touching, prevented her from leaving, and then eventually forced her to engage in intercourse.
In an October interview with police, Christian admitted his involvement.
The arrest warrant issued by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office charged Christian with one count of sexual battery, a Class D felony.
