Main Street Warsaw is inviting the community to experience the second annual Downtown Warsaw Fashion Weekend, presented by Toyota of Warsaw, on Oct. 2 and 3.
The event will showcase local fashion and downtown businesses, according to a provided news release.
The weekend kicks off with a free Downtown Sip N Shop at several downtown businesses Oct. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is open to the public and will feature participating businesses offering complimentary wine and cheese, art vendors and street musicians throughout downtown.
The event continues Oct. 3 with the ticketed Downtown Warsaw Fashion Weekend runway show at The Vic, 110 N. Buffalo St. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the evening beginning with a red carpet cocktail hour from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The runway show will take place from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., featuring fashions from Glam Boutique, Finley & Co. Boutique and Male Fashions. Following the runway show, guests are invited to continue the celebration at an after-party at Anthology Whiskey Bar from 9:30 to 11 p.m. The after-show will also feature a cabaret performance by Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts and mixing with fashion models and fellow guests.
Tickets for Saturday night's event are available now and are $75 for an individual ticket or $125 for a pair and include admission to both the runway show and after-party. Downtown Warsaw Fashion Weekend provides an opportunity to highlight local retailers and the unique shopping experiences available in downtown Warsaw while encouraging residents and visitors to shop local, enjoy downtown businesses and experience the community in a new way, according to the release.
“Downtown Warsaw Fashion Weekend is a great way to celebrate our local retailers while bringing people together for a fun and unique downtown experience,” said Downtown Development Director Terry Sweeney. “From Friday night’s Sip N Shop to Saturday’s runway show and after party, this weekend offers a fun way to experience downtown Warsaw, support local businesses and celebrate the fashion and creativity in our community.”
