Lucky’s Tavern in North Webster and the Saint Regis Club in Warsaw were approved to begin selling liquor Thursday afternoon.
Lucky’s part-owner Jared Hamilton came before the Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission Thursday.
His establishment has been operating under a beer and wine license with carryout.
With his new license, Hamilton can have beer, wine and liquor but no carryout.
Hamilton said he will apply for a letter of authority to allow him to serve liquor earlier than it could by waiting for the new permit.
Saint Regis Club, a private social club, was approved for a transfer of ownership for a beer, wine and liquor license.
The license previously belonged to 8WW Cusines in Warsaw and was sold to Saint Regis Club.
Tim Hori of Saint Regis Club said the private social club currently has about 100 members.
Five people were in the audience Thursday to speak in favor of Saint Regis Club’s request.
Since the board approved the request unanimously and there was nobody on hand to speak against it, none of the supporters spoke.
One of those supporters was Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce President Mark Dobson.
