Everett Leaves Squire Hoops Post For Valley Asst. Principal Job

AKRON – Jake Everett has left his position at Manchester Junior-Senior High School, including the high school girls basketball head coaching job, to accept an assistant principal position at Tippecanoe Valley.

The move became official at Monday night’s Valley school board meeting.

Everett had been the coach for the Lady

Squires for five seasons, with an improved record nearly every year. Manchester went from 8-15 in Everett’s first season (2014-15) to 17-8 last year, falling in the sectional title game to eventual state champion Oak Hill. The two wins in the sectional were the first postseason victories for Manchester since the 2012-13 season.

Everett’s record in his five years at Manchester was 57-60.
