It's a rare second Monday of the month when the Warsaw Plan Commission has no requests to consider and can discuss philosophy.
This evening's meeting is just such an event. The city commissioners and the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission will take a look at long-range planning in the city and surrounding area.
On the agenda are several items related to planning efforts, including: a brief review of the city/county charette held July 17, a look at a future land use map, identification of residential, commercial and industrial growth areas and possible annexations.
The meeting is open to the public and begins at 7 p.m.
Warsaw Plan Commission members are Joe Thallemer, Jeff Grose, Jim Gast, Dewey Lawshe, Lacy Francis, Richard Keeven and Alan Klingan.
Area plan commissioners are Kevin McSherry, Barb Carwile, Norm Lovell, Don Ahrms, Vic Virgil, Kelly Easterday, Dick Kemper, Charlie Haffner and Hal Strong.
