Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
A 14-year-old Warsaw girl reported Monday that she was raped more than a week ago by a teen-age boy.
The teen told a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department deputy that she was at the residence of the 16-year-old male when he allegedly forced himself on her.
The girl said she told the boy that she didn't want to have sex with him, but he pulled her pants down and did so anyway.
The two teens have reportedly been friends for about a year.
The incident allegedly occurred about 6 p.m. April 20 while the two were watching television at the male's house. After the alleged incident, the girl fled the boy's house and went home. She said she didn't report the matter sooner because she was afraid to let anyone know and she didn't want a bad reputation.
The allegations remains under investigation.
