Local 809 to Hold Meal Giveaway Friday

The United Steelworkers Local 809 will hold its annual Christmas meal giveaway Friday.
The giveaway is set for 4 p.m. at the Home and Family Arts Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
Local 809 was able to put together 305 meals for those families in need.
Union representative Brian Fanning said Local 809 was thankful to Owen’s for allowing to make the meals more affordable.
Union members donate money each year to bring meals to families.
This year’s meal consists of a 5-pound canned ham, a 10-pound bag of potatoes, pudding, stuffing and gravy.
The meals are first-come, first-serve.
